You are getting other peoples mail

If you are regularly receiving someone elses mail, please let us know so we can stop it happening.

We aim to provide excellent service to all of our customers. If you are receiving mail intended for someone else, there is a reason. Here are some reasons that it may be happening, and some easy solutions:

The previous occupant at the address may not have redirected their mail or changed their address. By law we have to deliver the mail to the stated P.O. Box address (not just the named person). You can, however, mark the item Not for this box number xx or Return to sender and put it into a Mail Drop.

If mail is not addressed to your P.O. Box but is being delivered to you, please help us by indicating Not for Box # xx) and popping it in the drop box or returning it to the counter staff. If this happens frequently, please let us know and we will try to resolve it.

Alternatively, you can re-post the item. Please do not destroy or deface such mail as this is against postal regulations.

Your mail is going to the wrong address

If it looks as if your mail is regularly being sent to someone else, please let us know and we will try to put it right.

Mail can be sent to the wrong address or person for a number of reasons:

You have moved but your mail hasnt

You have changed address, but some of your mail is still going to your old address.

By law, the Cayman Islands Postal Service must deliver mail to the address that is shown on the item. However, you can sign up for our redirection service. You can redirect mail for one month, three months or one year. At the end of that time you can renew your redirection for up to two years. We redirect mail both within the Cayman Islands and to addresses overseas.

Your mail is correctly addressed but delivered to the wrong address

If your mail is correctly addressed but is being delivered to someone else instead please let us know and we will ensure that your local Post Office, is told about the problem.
