Dr. Tasha Ebanks Garcia, Deputy Chief Advisor
Biography
Dr. Tasha Ebanks Garcia brings a plethora of professional knowledge, namely a Doctorate in Psychology and Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University and a Bachelors Degree in Guidance and Counselling from the Institute for Theological and Leadership Development (Cayman Islands Campus).
As one of SRIU’s subject matter experts on human relations, her educational training involved acquiring skills to understand human behaviour and to work within systems of people (families, communities and organisations) helping with the process of change. Dr. Tasha brings to the SRIU a strong background in relationship management, programme development, project planning, business management skills, workforce development, public relations and communications.
Some notable achievements include consultant to the BVI Government charged with responsibilities for setting up the BVI Junior Achievement Programme, former Facilitator for the Passport2Success Programme and a former television talk show host and producer.
